Job Title - Assistant Director - Teaching, Learning and Innovation
Salary: £47,804 - £57,059 (per annum)
Contract Type: Fixed Term until July 2027
Hours: 37 per week
Location: This role will involve working across multiple sites.

We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking leader who will drive high standards across all provision, working collaboratively with leaders and staff to ensure consistently high-quality delivery. You will take a cross-college lead in embedding current, engaging and innovative teaching practices, informed by the latest educational and pedagogical developments. The role will also involve leading and delivering quality improvement initiatives aligned to the College’s Quality Strategy and continuous improvement plan, working closely with the Assistant Principal for Quality and Assistant Director for Quality to support the delivery of the wider quality agenda.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and College Senior Leadership Team (SLT);
Driving and developing outstanding provision through innovative and high-quality delivery; and
Marketing and promotion of the provision to employers and stakeholders.
Key Person Specification Requirements:
Degree (or equivalent) in relevant discipline;
PGCE or CertEd;
Successful experience of teaching and coaching learners of varied ages, backgrounds and abilities;
Knowledge and understanding of awarding body standards and requirements;
Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment;
Up-to-date occupational experience; and
Enhanced DBS check.
